Here are the main marine species in Guinea-Bissau, Liberia and Sierra Leone:

Pelagic fish: The waters of these regions are particularly rich in tuna, including bigeye, skipjack and yellowfin. There are also large populations of round and flat sardinella, mackerel and anchovy. These pelagic species represent a major economic resource for these coastal countries.

Demersal fish: The area is characterized by a remarkable diversity of demersal fish, including sea bass, grouper, captain, pageot and various sparid species. Hake is also an important species, particularly appreciated for its firm, tasty flesh.

Crustaceans and molluscs: The marine ecosystems of these regions are home to several species of crustaceans of commercial interest: tiger prawns, white shrimps, langoustines. There are also populations of crabs and lobsters. Molluscs include various species of octopus, cuttlefish and squid.
